Supervision and Consultation

I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor in WA State, and able to supervise associates working towards full licensure. I am also available for consultation. I work from a psychodynamic orientation that is heavily influenced by relational psychoanalytic theory. Please see my Therapeutic Approach for more on my way of working. In supervision, my goal is to help you grow into more of who you are as clinician, rather than imposing a particular way of working or being. For those working in community mental health, I offer a discounted rate for supervision and consultation.

Teaching

I have experience teaching workshops and classes related to working with suicidal patients, navigating the psychiatric system in King County, the therapist’s role in sending patients to the emergency room and psychiatric hospitalization, psychedelics, and various topics in relational psychoanalysis. Additionally, I have presented papers at the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education, and had writing published through The Forum, the former publication associated with the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study.
